  • We offer 3 convenient ways for therapy clients to make payments.

    1. Self pay or out-of-pocket (no insurance reimbursement)

    2. Use out-of-network benefits (get a monthly superbill; seek insurance reimbursement; save up to 70%)

    3. Apply for CareCredit (pay upfront; make budget-friendly payments later; 0% interest for 6 months) Apply here.

Ask your insurance provider the following questions about out-of-network benefits:

    1. Does my health insurance plan have out-of-network benefits?

    2. Do I have a deductible?

    3. After I meet my deductible, what is my out-of-network benefit reimbursement rate for billing codes 90837 and 90791?

    4. Does my deductible renew at the start of the new year or insurance contract year?

    5. Is there a limit to the amount of out-of-network sessions I have?

    6. How do I submit the superbill I receive from my provider for reimbursement?

Individuals experiencing these mental health concerns may need a higher level of care.

  • First, we explore what experiences you encountered (i.e., racial trauma, emotional childhood trauma, or generational trauma) that may be causing stress, anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem.

Then, we develop goals, practice tools and techniques, and find solutions that will be most effective for you.

Through our work together, I'll equip you with the skills and confidence you need to thrive at work, in your relationships, and life.

  • During your first appointment, we start with getting to know each other. I ask in more detail what brings you to therapy. I ask you questions about your history, lifestyle, and background to better understand your needs.

I also allow you to ask any questions about therapy, and we review policies and procedures. We might also test your drawing skills in the first session as we start piecing together your goals for treatment. So, have a piece of paper and pencil handy!

  • Your unique needs and circumstances determine how long you need to be in therapy. Most of my clients show significant progress within 3 of attending therapy weekly.

I require all new therapy clients to attend 12 weekly sessions. If we agree that significant progress has been made after 12 sessions, we can scale back to bi-monthly or monthly sessions. After 12 weeks, clients may also wrap things up or end therapy.

I've found that most clients' progress and growth require consistency and momentum. I recommend clients attend therapy at least once per week for 3 months. Ideally, those working through trauma may need therapy for 6-12 months.
