Clinical supervision for school counselors in GA

Don’t you wish you had a clinical supervisor that gets the work that you do?

As a fellow school counselor, I understand the important work that you do.

Before private practice, I worked in schools for seven years. I have experience working in elementary, middle, and high school settings. At the elementary level, I worked as a school counselor. I worked as a middle school counselor and student engagement coach at the middle school level.

I worked as a student support specialist at the high school level supporting high school counselors with the 504/SST/MTSS process. Before transitioning into private practice, I also worked as a school-based therapist.

I currently work in private practice and as an adjunct professor in a Masters of School Counseling program.

As you can see, I have a plethora of experience. Like you, I worked in a school setting while pursuing state licensure. I can help you strengthen your clinical skills and professional counseling identity. Maybe you want to continue working in schools after you get licensed, or perhaps you want to transition into private practice.

Whatever it is, I can help you get there. I will address the following topics in clinical supervision, but I am open to other suggestions:

  • Navigating the 504/SST/MTSS process in schools

  • Developing structured small groups

  • Transitioning to private practice

  • Using data in your comprehensive school counseling program

  • Discussing/Reviewing student/client cases

  • Integrating antiracist education and counseling in schools

  • Writing progress notes and treatment planning

  • Counselor wellness and self-care

  • Setting professional boundaries in the workplace
